ELIGIBILITY FOR ONGOING POST GRADUATE DEGREE / DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES:

Notwithstanding anything contained in the preceding clauses, admission to the programme of study shall be done on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG-2024) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) subject to the ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS prescribed for various programmes of study as given under:

However, first preference shall be given to the candidates qualifying B.Sc Home Science and Second preference shall be given to those who passed B.A with home science as one of the subjects. Only in case, seats fall vacant in above categories, they shall be offered to candidates having qualified Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Stream.

11	SCQP09	Computer Science	Master of Computer Application (MCA)	University of Jammu	Computer Science and IT (MCA): A candidate seeking admission to MCA programme must have passed in the final year of BCA/B.Sc (Computer Science) or equivalent Examination (with at least 50% of the aggregate marks for general category and 45% for SC/ST Category) and Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level . However, candidate who has not studied computer science subjects at UG level and/or has not passed mathematics paper at 10+2 level, is also eligible to apply. (Such candidates need to enroll and compulsorily pass the Bridge Course- PSCSATB100 of four credits in addition to the passing regular Semester-I courses given in the syllabus during Semester-I, in order to get eligible for admission to Semester – III of MCA 2-years programme. This course will be of qualifying nature only, needs to be completed and passed in first year of MCA to become eligible for subsequent Semester-III, and will not be included in the total credits earned by the student against MCA final degree. The bridge course exam will be conducted twice a year.)

(i) Bachelor's in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent OR (ii) Bachelors of Science (B.Sc.) in Health and Physical Education OR (iii) Bachelor's in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed Inservicecandidates), with 50% of aggregate Marks for General category 45% SC/ST Category. The persons with disabilities are not eligible for admission to the programme. The candidates shall also have to further appear in the Canadian Test to be conducted by the Directorate of the Physical Education, University of Jammu.
44	COQP11	Physical Education	Bachelor of Physical Education	University of Jammu	B.P.Ed (Physical Education): A candidate who has passed the following examination shall be eligible for the B.P.Ed programme. (i) Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% of aggregate Marks for General category 45% SC/ST Category and having at least participation in the Inter-College/Inter-Zonal/ District/ School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India. OR (ii) Bachelor's degree in Physical Education OR (iii) Bachelor's degree in any discipline and studied physical education as compulsory/ elective subject. OR (iv) Bachelor's degree and having participated in National/Inter University / State competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College / Inter-Zonal/ District/ School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India. OR (v) Bachelor's Degree with participation in International competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National/Inter-University competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federations/ AIU/ IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India. OR (vi) Graduation Degree and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in service candidates i.e., trained physical education teachers / coaches). The persons with disabilities are not eligible for admission to the programme. The candidates qualifying the written exam test shall have to further appear in the Canadian Test to be conducted by the Department of the Physical Education, University of Jammu. The number of candidates to be invited for appearing in the Canadian Test shall not exceed three (3) times the number of seats available in the Directorate. The selection for admission shall be made on the basis of composite merit obtained in the Entrance Test out of those qualifying the Canadian Test.

52	COQP11	Human Rights & Duties Education	Post Graduate Diploma	University of Jammu	Post-graduate Diploma in Human Rights & Duties Education: A candidate shall be eligible to seek admission to the programme if he/she has passed: ((a) Bachelor's Degree examination under 10+2+3 in any discipline of the University of Jammu with 50% of aggregate Marks for General category 45% SC/ST Category or an examination of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto. (b) Provided that, Army/CPO/Police Officers having Bachelor's Degree of old 10+2+2 or 10+1+3 pattern shall be eligible for admission without having passed bridge course of one year duration.) BASIC ELIGIBILITY AND ORDER OF ADMISSION:
1	The candidate must have minimum 55% of marks in the qualifying examination for admission to PG/PG Diploma Programmes (50 % in case of SC/ST Categories)
2	The candidate must fulfill the eligibility as per Column F and appeared in the CUET-PG-24 in the subject as per Column B
3	If seats remain vacant after exhausting all the eligible applicants as per 2 above, the same be offered on the basis of the Academic Merit of the qualifying examination.
