MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO PG PROGRAMME (ACADEMIC SESSION 2025-26):

For the candidates (except SC/ST categories), the minimum eligibility is 50% marks aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination as per the Program-Specific Eligibility. In case of SC/ST the minimum eligibility is 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination as per the Program-Specific Eligibility.

NOTE: For admissions to the programs, which are governed by the regulations of the regulatory bodies, such as All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Bar Council of India (BCI), National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) etc., the University adheres to the Minimum Eligibility requirements prescribed under the respective regulations of the concerned bodies. Refer to the respective Program-Specific Eligibility as per the table given below:

The persons with disabilities are not eligible for admission to the programme. The candidates shall also have to further appear and pass AAPHER (Modified Version) Physical Fitness Test, which is suitable for both combat sports as well as team games, to be conducted by the Directorate of the Physical Education, University of Jammu.
45	COQP11	Physical Education (B.P.Ed)	Bachelor of Physical Education	A candidate seeking admission to the programme must have passed the following examination : (i) Bachelor's degree in any discipline and having at least participation in the Inter-College/Inter-Zonal/ District/ School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India. OR (ii) Bachelor's degree in Physical Education OR (iii) Bachelor's degree in any discipline and studied physical education as compulsory/ elective subject. OR (iv) Bachelor's degree and having participated in National/Inter University / State competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College / Inter-Zonal/ District/ School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India. OR (v) Bachelor's Degree with participation in International competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National/Inter-University competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federations/ AIU/ IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India. OR (vi) Graduation Degree and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in service candidates i.e., trained physical education teachers / coaches). The persons with disabilities are not eligible for admission to the programme. The candidates shall also have to further appear and pass AAPHER (Modified Version) Physical Fitness Test, which is suitable for both combat sports as well as team games, to be conducted by the Directorate of the Physical Education, University of Jammu.
